October 8, 200817 yr I was wondering what kind of books you like to read, i was also hoping that someone could advise me on a book that is anything web design related but wasn't code. I need a nice easy read book before i go sleep and not something that i need to be sat at a computer to be reading. Reading code before i go bed was giving me insomnia its not a good idea. Any suggestions that you have read and found an easy read or would like to read?
October 10, 200817 yr Have a look in the books section - WDF Book Section "The Principles Of Beautiful Web Design" is a great book looking at how to design websites in general
October 10, 200817 yr Something totally different ; Salmon Fishing in the Yemen. I enjoyed that. I have read a lot of books so I'm sure there's more but not much to do with the web or indeed web design. If you have a mac, the missing manual os x book is good; haven't read it all but it's easy to dip into and quite humorous. Are we at 1000 yet? lol

Not mac user but thanks for the input as for "The Principles Of Beautiful Web Design" i have been trying to get a torrent for it to see if its worth a buy. Have you got or had a read of this book? is it a nice easy read without endless amounts of code? what do you think of it? I've just had an idea i'm hoping to go travelling round europe next year and want to see what places have to offer so worth looking in to.

November 3, 200817 yr Hi I have books which say “The Dummies guide to…?” The others say “The Complete Idiot’s Guide to..?” What makes it worse is that they were bought for me, which was a massive confidence booster. Now I need to simply iron out whether I am an Idiot or a Dummy and I am laughing all the way to the shelf and back. Peter
