Hey people,

So you have been dying to see some of my design work... Here is the 2nd website I've ever done.

This is a website I helped to design.

Please review this website.

It isn't entirely finished yet, and I still have to fix the validation errors but please tell me if there is anything you guys think should be added/taken away.

Also, this was made using Zen-Cart. (Special thanks to ElanMan, Rob, Jamest and all the others that helped me when I ran in to trouble).

I LOVE ZenCart and have many customizations of it under my belt. It has a few limitations, but overall is a great script.

Now, for the graphics...I don't care for the glassy style sidebar headings. For me, personally, I would prefer a solid colored heading and white box. I achieve different looks with borders and colors, even the Categories Dressing Mod sometimes.

On to functionality, why do your categories open to blank pages? If I click on Fur Windscreens, I get a secondary menu that opens up, with each item beginning with &nbsp and nothing but one photo on the page. I have to click again on something in the secondary menu to get a list. That's odd, I've never seen it function that way before and personally, I don't expect to have to return to the menu to click again after making a selection. ZenCart will allow you to always have submenus open, perhaps you could do that? You definitely need to check on the &nbsp at the beginning of each item in the submenu.

For some reason, also, your visited link text is smaller than active and hover...is that intentional?

Not trying to beat you up at all :) , but just pointing out things that you might need to look into. If there's anything I can help with, let me know. I think I could set up a basic ZenCart in my sleep, though my customers are usually selling digital goods, not physical ones.

Good luck!

A good start, but there is still some work to be done.

There is quite a lot of white space on the site that could do with addressing.

Like was also said, the glassy headers are just not quite right. (But that's just my personal opinion ;) )

I do however, like the header graphic and would increase the size of that if it were me.

I think it looks pretty good.

For me, the text is very small in the body part. Also when I open your side menu for fur windscreens, I get lots of &nbsp's before all the links.

This first thing I noticed is 'Got wind noise?' lol sorry but just made me think of the men in my life.

All the best!

I saw that too..............made me smile.

So if I buy one and shove it up his bum, does that mean I won't hear him farting? (and hopefully it will absorb some of the smell too)

Alrighty, thank you I'll look in to that.

It will be fixed. I think my co-designer is messing around with it. Like I said not completed yet. ^_^

Nope that wasn't intentional, I'll fix that. thanks for pointing it out.

Thank you very much. I'll let you know if I run in to any trouble. . . This is my first time of using Zen-Cart. :)

As for the glassy look, I think I'll tone it down a bit.

Also as for the header graphics there was a request to keep it reasonably small. :)

I'll get on fixing those right away.

Well, if you were a professional videographer you probably wouldn't think of that. ;)

Thanks for the suggestions.

Oh and we are aware that the website will look different on different resolutions. Which we are working on fixing.
