That doesn't have anything to do with the width...look at your layout and check your sidebar widgets...it says you are trying to have two with the same name.

Specifically what are you trying to make wider? How wide? If you only change the numbers as I showed you, there is no reason you should get errors.

Now, whatever you add to your sidebars, you have to give up in the middle...but you can change these things in the Edit HTML section when you're logged in. Go to Layout, then Edit HTML. One is an outer wrapper, the other is the inside...just be sure to keep them proportioned the way they are now, make the outer 8 pixels wider than the inner. Um, well...I've never SEEN the mod . I'll have to go take a look at it...I agree, styling only one would be much easier!

It can be integrated or "bridged" with Coppermine (also open source), but the visual integration has to be done manually, so you have to style both scripts. If you want an easy integration, vBulletin and Photopost are the way to go, but neither are free. I've just finished a SMF/Coppermine integration and can tell you that the integration is simple and the styling isn't too tough, either, but I don't like Coppermine nearly as well as Photopost when it comes to gallery scripts.

I do love vBulletin, but if you want open source, I think SMF is the way to go. I definitely prefer it over phpBB, but that is just a matter of personal preference. Good lucki!

I think I got it and even implemented a .png fix for IE6 (blech!) so it looks better, but not perfect, in IE6, too...but I plan to add a disclaimer stating site is designed to be viewed in Firefox or IE7. Thanks for the help again!

Thanks for the help! I did finally get them placed where I want them, but Firefox is displaying bullets because widgets are technically list items and now I'm trying to figure out how to take those off...but making progress. Thanks!

I think maybe you aren't seeing the page...it should be a Wordpress blog, not just a splash page. Were you seeing index.php? It could also have been that I was trying a few things, but none of them give the effect I need for that left hand column, which is the same as the right, folder tab graphic overlapping the top of the purple box.

I have this working like it should in Firefox, but in IE, there's one little problem: http://www.getdigiwithit.com/index.php You may have to re-enter the URL a couple of times because there's also an index.html file. Anyway, at the top left of the content section, there's a little folder label graphic that should overhang the top of the colored background box. In Firefox, it does, but in IE, it gets cut off at the top of the box. The ones on the right are working properly and I've looked and looked for a difference in them and can't find one. Can anyone see something I'm missing? Thanks!!

Is the bottom navigation supposed to be all the way to the left? Not being a smarta$$, just not sure if you intended that or not and in Firefox on Mac, it is. I think the yellow is a bit harsh, but we all have different monitors so maybe that's just me.

I LOVE ZenCart and have many customizations of it under my belt. It has a few limitations, but overall is a great script. Now, for the graphics...I don't care for the glassy style sidebar headings. For me, personally, I would prefer a solid colored heading and white box. I achieve different looks with borders and colors, even the Categories Dressing Mod sometimes. On to functionality, why do your categories open to blank pages? If I click on Fur Windscreens, I get a secondary menu that opens up, with each item beginning with &nbsp and nothing but one photo on the page. I have to click again on something in the secondary menu to get a list. That's odd, I've never seen it function that way before and personally, I don't expect to have to return to the menu to click again after making a selection. ZenCart will allow you to always have submenus open, perhaps you could do that? You definitely need to check on the &nbsp at the beginning of each item in the submenu. For some reason, also, your visited link text is smaller than active and hover...is that intentional? Not trying to beat you up at all , but just pointing out things that you might need to look into. If there's anything I can help with, let me know. I think I could set up a basic ZenCart in my sleep, though my customers are usually selling digital goods, not physical ones. Good luck!

I'm liking it much better, but I'd like it even more if the menu tabs were aligned with the top of the logo and the top menu was somewhere else...somehow those pieces just don't look like they fit...but I don't know how to suggest that you make them fit so I'll shut up now, LOL. The footer looks great .

I looked at the old version three times before I realized I should probably click on "Products" to shop, so the addition of the prominently placed "Shop" tab is definitely an improvement. I also agree on the double navigation, and the top nav looks like it's a little too far to the right if it does stick around. I do like the new site much better than the old design, though, I think you're on the right track .
