I use Hostmonster and I am very satisfied with the service that they provide. I also hear that Hostgator is very good. Good luck Jute
  2. Hi, Good start! I must say that I am not a big fan of your menu to the left. I would like it to look "cleaner". Also I agree with earlier comment about the picture....it does not pop out...to mellow, make it or get one that when you see you just feel that ohhhh I have to go there. Best of luck! Jute
  3. Hi, I like the things that Traktor says and especially the blue text on white. Find it somewhat difficult to read the text. Maybe you could go with a darker blue or maybe blue-gray....... But It looks like you've a good idea and with some minor adjustments it will look perfect. Good work /Jute
  4. Hi, I am a big user of my sites statistics and what I do is to see where my visitors come from and how they found it. And also as mentioned earlier, find out where the visitors that buy, sign up or what it is that you want to achieve come from. Then focus your marketing/promotion of your site on those. Best of luck Jute
  5. Hi, check out the ones that link to your biggest competitors and start contacting the ones that already link to them. My tip is to always keep track of the ones that you've sent messages to and when you are going to follow up if they have not answered. I use a simple excel doc. Where I list who, contact form, when, follow up. I first send one message, then a reminder if no answer. I never send a third email, I then mark it as dead in my excel doc. It is time consuming work but it gives good results. If you are going to use some software to submit to different sites always set up an email adress for this like submit@yoursite.com because it gets lots and lots of spam. Good luck Jute
  6. Hi, I recomend you to do the following. When you see a nice site that you are visiting always check the page source. That way you will after a while get a little hang on how a page is set up and how it works. There are many excellent sites with guides to css, php, mysql etc etc etc. I would not spend to much time in learning to master Frontpage because you will probably never use it again after you've finished your course. Find a free "what you see is what you get" editor and save pages that you visit and open them in your editor and start making small changes and see what the change does to the site that you have saved on your harddrive. There are also many excellent "cheat sheets" out there so if for example you would like to know more about css just google "css cheat sheet" and you will find some good ones. Good luck! Jute

Hi, I also use this one. Loving it! Regards Jute
  8. Squidoo rocks! I have some articles on Squidoo that I have created for friends to increase their traffic. It is a cheap (free) way to get a link to your site from a site that google robots love. Make sure that the article you write is interesting. I highly recommend looking at David Beckta (spelling) videos when it comes to writing articles for Squidoo. Good luck with your article and your site. Regards Jute
  9. Hi, Only have two more things to add.... Make sure your site validates. Never use tables. Best of luck /Jute
  10. Good Job! I also have a little too much space inbetween the text lines (see picture) in the colored table fields. An easy way to adjust this is to use CSS on the table. Other than that it looks inviting and the colors are warm and inviting. Keep up the good work. Regards Jute
