  1. Photoshop CS4 One on One with Deke Mcclelland of course!
  2. You should check out Dreamweaver then. I have it and it looks good.
  3. This is a rule I know from a video tutorial: 6. Keep the text togheter, so reduce the space between letters. This is a typography rule. Also, like on the 2nd logo of Avera's 1st post, there has to be some difference between the company name and description (The UK's... etc) The difference there is that the description is in all caps and the name is not. This probably makes the name stand out, and it makes the logo look way better.
  4. The program seems pretty good but why can't you right click on the document anymore?
  5. Check out Deke Mcclelland's One on One video tutorials for CS3. He takes you from begginer upway to advanced. His method of using Photoshop is more like opening ready made images and modifying them, not starting from scratch. He says that this is actually the purpose of the program so you'll learn a lot of stuff (+ some hidden nice tricks) from him because he is very good. I'd also recommend Photoshop Top Secret but it's not as good.
  6. I'd like to know if a job like freelance webdesign is a good job. Is it profitable, difficult, time consuming, is it hard to get clients, etc. I'd like to know your experience as proffesional freelance webdesigners.
  7. Hi all. I'm new to webdesign and this forum as well. My name is Mihai and I'm a high-school student from Romania. I don't know much about webdesign but I like working in programs like Adobe Photoshop and I think this might be a pretty good job for me. I'm looking forward to get an introduction to web design on this forum, make some friends and learn. The only site I worked on is www.cfronline.ro but only at the visual part.
