If you run a professional business the best advice is to hire a professional web designer or agency. There are way too many things too be concerned with if you do it yourself. Security, performance optimization, pratices for design/layout, scalability, SEO, device/browser compatibility etc.

The list need to be updated. I got the list 2016, if it's recommended i'll post here.

If you started you interview with me like that then you wouldn't get the job.
 
I look for enthusiasm, people with ideas and confidence but not cocky. People who challenge and are positive in their approach, who can work in a team, able to take criticism and accept a bollocking when they mess things up. People who have done their research and are knowledgeable about the company and the job they are applying for.
 
Anyone who suggests they get bored at work won't even finish the interview. If you have no current tasks then you should go looking for work or spend time practising and researching new skills.
 
It's up to you to convince me that you are better than all the other candidates. This is after 30 years experience interviewing people for all sorts of posts. I can normally tell if someone is right for the job within a few minutes. The way you enter the room and greet the interviewer is crucial. Get this right and you are halfway there.

Since watching Interstellar again I keep returning to S.T.A.Y by Hans Zimmer and particularly the rather more upbeat Maor Levi remix on Youtube which has the benefit of a brilliant video. I just can't work out what the helicopters might be doing in the early part of the video - are the dropping something/someone into the water or lifting them out?

Any reasonable client would not expect you to work 24/7 or even be available for contact. You can set up email auto replies so the client knows you will get back to them after the weekend. Seriously you need to have time away and your clients understand this.
