16 Page Brochure...
I have been asked to produce a 16 page brochure, now it has been a while since I did any print work and am more focused on web now, so am a little unsure on how much to quote for this. How much would you charge for a 16page brochure? Or another way is how many hours would you charge for this? Any help would be great. Thanks Mike

How do you offer a re-design politely?
Tell them the benefits of a redesign, tell them what they will get out of it, tell them why a mobile friendly site is important. If they don't see any benefits it doesn't matter if it is free or not.

Just starting up, offering free websites, being ignored
I shall assume you are looking to take on free projects to build up a portfolio? Do you have a website your self? Do you have any work on it? If your portfolio of work is limited in size, then how about instead of contacting people and offering your services for free, is take a look at a company that you may wish to get in touch with but instead build them a site, or just mock up some site designs, this is good practice for you, fun and you can add it to your site to show your style and what you can do. You could then get in touch with the company and show them what you can do, show them your design, they may love it and pay you to build it.

My 1 negative with Freelancing...
I am looking into shared desk space, may give it a go for a couple days of the week, depends on most really. I do go to the gym in the afternoon to break it up a bit, which does help.

My 1 negative with Freelancing...
I have been freelance for 8 months now, and love it, the freedom is great, working on stuff I love, all is good and I really wouldn't want to go back to the old 9-5. However... the one thing that I am struggling with and miss is the social interaction, be it bouncing off ideas, or even just chatting and having a laugh with co workers. I'm sure I am not the only one that feels this and wondered what others do to combat this? Thanks Mike
