I'm in agreeance with Throzen. Your body text is much stronger than the headings and its a little hard on the eyes to read with the current font you've chosen. I also think that you could do away with the drop shadow on "Contact Info" it makes it look fuzzy and hard to read.

I think that wage amount should be clarified if it is in pounds or dollars. I realize this is a UK based forum, but who knows. 15K here in Canada is below minimum wage, but 15k pounds here in Canada would be equivalent to 24.4K, not too shabby for entry level position.

While you CAN edit some of the templates off of Theme Forest, it generally depends on the author, if you're just going to edit it you're better off starting from scratch. You can take this as a speed bump, or a learning experience, but coding a wordpress theme in its entirety is difficult for what sounds like your skill level, you would need a solid grasp of HTML/CSS and probably some javascript to make it all look pretty That being said, its never too late to learn!

If you are looking for tutorials to theme certain CMS, I have found Envato's Tuts+ network invaluable in all the resources and knowledge they provide, and worst comes to worst they have a ton of themes to buy for relatively cheap off of ThemeForest

One of the best places I've seen to learn is codeacademy, and they offer many different languages to learn. The best part is that they are interactive lessons, you aren't just reading and maybe trying one or 2 things in your own html file, you need to follow along and participate, which for me facilitates learning

I'm also a smoker. I've tried quitting several times but always end up I don't really want to quit, I quite enjoy it. Nothing is better first thing in the morning than a coffee or espresso and a cigarette. It jump starts your day.

Hello everyone! I actually used to participate in this website back in the day, but have no idea what email or username I used back then so I've created a new account. Site looks much different now too! I hail from the middle of Canada, Saskatchewan and I'm in the midst of taking control of my life and trying to transition from an un-related full-time job to something a little more creative My goal is in a year to have some steady income from design work, and maybe even be able to quit my full-time for a part time or hopefully no other job. I am 21, took a year of design-ish courses in college and found them pretty rubbish so i've been working on upgrading my own skills over the last year or two, and I came back here for the community, as no one I know personally is at all design or coding orientated!
