  1. Imo for developers. Admin interface is intuitive (of course there are tons of features but anyway).
  2. It's just a bunch of semitransparent images aligned on top of each other and some jQuery magic for showing and hiding layers. My guess is that's custom build, not any plugin or something.   3. Sublimetext or Coda.
  4. We just made a strategic decision to use ExpressionEngine for our projects. For small sites we're still using WordPress.
  5. What about writing yout own script?
  6. Magento is very elegant platform... unfortunately elegancy comes with complexity. It's one of the most difficult platforms I've tried ever.
