  1. This made me laugh out loud. It's so true.
  2. What websites do you use for inspiration and for keeping upto date on all the latest design-related news? Mine: http://www.smashingmagazine.com/ http://www.digg.com/design
  3. What's wrong with using Safari for windows for testing?
  4. I'm on Vista Used to have a 24" iMac Using Vista is horrible after using OS X.
  5. /css /img /js /php and the img folder may be split up into different dirs depending on whether there are a lot of images or not. I wouldn't capitalise the first letter of each directory like you do, it would cause problems for me
  6. I would agree with sourcemotion, I've had problems before using 'display:inline', but 'float:left' usually works fine
  7. Gah! I'm hurt. What's wrong with Dreamweaver? I don't use Design View, or Spry or anything like that, so maybe thats what you're talking about, but Dreamweaver is perfect to me
  8. I don't know how anybody can prefer to use Notepad over an editor created for coding for any reason other than to brag about it My list: Dreamweaver Photoshop Stock Images XAMPP Testing browsers (Firefox 2, Safari for Windows, and IETester)

  10. Thank you, and I'm sure I will
  11. Oh sorry. I had a look to see if there was one and didn't see it!
  12. How do you guys keep track of clients, websites you've done, projects you're currently working on, etc. I worked at a Web Design company for a while and their system was a complete mess. They used a combination of Outlook, and some sort of web-based frontend for a database to keep track of clients. I'm just starting to freelance (I recently left that company) and am considering using OpenOffice Base to create a database to keep track of my clients and their sites. Are there any better ways?
  13. Hi. I had been looking for an active Web Design-related forum for a while and finally find this (Thanks to SmashingMagazine.com) So just saying hi
