What can I do in fireworks cs4 to make transparent just the first part of the image which completely blank but not the white colors which might exist in the other part of the image? Thanks
  7. solved again by reducing the padding-right of the footer. Thanks though
  8. Well, I thought that was the solution. In deed, it seems to work pretty well in safari and firefox 3. But I do not know why ie6 seems not to understand very well what I want. Do you have any suggestion for ie6? Thanks
  9. Thank you very much. That is the solution.
  10. Hello guys I am trying to center this site www.arreglaordenador.com but it does not get completely centered. Any suggestion? Thanks in advance.
  11. Thanks, one more question php_penguin: You mean that the problem of jQuery is that the filesize of 97.7 KB from the jQuery library might be considered too big, right? Thanks
  12. Hello there I wanted to ask you whether it is worth or not using tools such as jquery or prototype comparing them to javascript. What do you suggest? Using those libraries or rely just on javascript? I knew javascript but I have got to know recently these libraries which seem to reduce the amount of code. Therefore, I do not know much about this issue. Nonetheless, if I have to give it a try, I might think that using just java script gives me more control than using those libraries. On the other hand, those libraries such as jquery or prototype might speed up the development. Please, I would appreciate your suggestions about purposes and pros and cons of using either libraries or only javascript. Thanks in advance
  13. Hello Eleman, I already solved the issue of the position of the drop down menu in ie6 by using a tailored hack for ie6. Nevertheless, as far as I have read, it seems that the two most standard approaches to build drop down menus are Suckerfish Dropdowns and whatever:hover methods. Moreover, it seems that hacks are considered not good although they are used just for letting ie6 display pages with javascript disabled. So, eventually I guess I think that although I already fixed the problem, I might change the solution to use any of those two methods I mentioned. Thanks in advance.
