  3. Hi to all, I'd like to make a new personal portfolio, but I want something awsome! something like http://jiouhe.com/ but i have some question: I find a nice jquery plugin named: scrollpath to make that path effect of navigation, but it's pretty difficult to use and it's based on absolute css classes, this is pretty an obstacle because if you don't have javascript enable the website navigation will be impossible. So do you know another plugin to make the same effect? About the design: it's better to start the layout as a normal single page website and then apply jquery effect to scroll the navigation? or I have to follow another way to design a site like that? Do you think that an intesive use of scrollpath + superscroll could be excessive? maybe to give the illusion of the multidirectional scrolling I could just use superscroll? thanks a lot in advace
  4. yep but that feels more hi-fi than a digital paper write wireframe

I have this website http://marcoquero.altervista.org that I entirely coded on my own with HTML5 and jQuery... But I now want to upgrade this with something more eye Candy...and a bit more elegant...oh well ok...I'd like to have a site a bit more SEO than this... So I have two question: It's better that I recode the entire website in HTML5 maybe with boilerplate? Or I can learn a wordpress framework and make a template for it? I just need a portfolio I don't have much time to take care of a blog maybe in the future but not now And I have another question: As you can see I use my real name to menage the site and my contracts but you think is more professional or useful to use an "agency" name? for example "digital something" either than my name? Thanks a lot in advance and sorry for my bad bad english

  16. I'm planning to build my personal portfolio with HTML5 and CSS3 with jquery... The portfolio is based on a single page layout and I use the scrollTo plugin of jQuery and jQuery 1.3.2 for the navigation menu for a fade out / fade in effect... with this I also use the jParallax plugin for a banner... so... everything work fine...except that jparallax doesn't work with jQuery 1.6.1 and that's not a problem untill i decide to use quicksand + fancybox... quicksand doesn't work with jQuery 1.3.2 but only with 1.6.1 so. 1) I don't know how to make jparallax work with jquery 1.6.1 or make quicksand work with jquery 1.3.2 2) all this script may use too much cpu or became too heavy for a website? maybe I have to use different pages so I can load different plugin? thanks to all
