hmm that purely depends on what customization you want like how many pages, quality of design, what sort of coding you need, what content management system you need to use, if you want a marketing package included or now.. well this all things need to be discussed with the company or developer you go for and than they will quote you an exact price.. but it will not be a cheap deal if you desire high end works.. Yes i agree miki's post and thats the strategy to get started on initial basis as you need to make people know about your works and your quality than only they will trust you and hire you for works.. and easy way is to give some initial free review copies and than make a portfolio out of it and compile a very nice portfolio.. this way gradually you will be established in this business and start earning.. cheers BHODUARTS

Moral of the story is while working just don't forget to press ctr l+s at some regular interval so even if the app crash you can have at-least half of the works and that will save time after all time is money it happened with me a lot many times than i started using the save option every few sec.. in my view you should keep a hand of practice also on coding and if you know xhtml/css well than i guess you can learn some of the php from online tutorials available if you have spare time for it.. Good luck

Just google it and you will find lots of video tutorials too.. But in my view the tutorials will only teach you the main thing ie key codes and techniques but what you will mainly learn is by your own self and practicing each and every psd you convert you lean new thing and new challenge come again and that makes you master.. after all practice makes man perfect.. In my opinion.. If you want to make a very effective site with regular updating of contents than i will prefer a good content management system as only html css will be difficult to manage and update .. there are lot technologies available.. Hmm too many bad experiences here.. and i too had many bad experiences, i have been working since many years as a freelancing web designer and developer and quite a few time it has happened that clients do not pay and take away the design when i started working than i improved myself and started adding watermarks as well as taking up front payments and all and now its good to go.. considering the worst experience it was once few years ago i met with an accident and i had 4 projects running and at that time i was alone working on all and i returned back after 5 days and show my inbox full with to many annoying mails but at last some how managed the situations and handled them with proper explanations..
