  1. Hi Everyone, In the site i’m building i’ve got a form that opens and closes using a simple jQuery button toggle class. The form is used so people can email and share the page with friends, colleagues etc. Currently the toggle just adds the class so it’s either display:block or display:none. At the moment it’s dull, no animation just basic open and close. I was looking at CSS3 animation but using the display:block, none cause a problem as that takes residence over the animation rendering that useless. I’ve looked at other examples but these seem to animate using heights which would cause an issue with the responsive aspect of the site/form. Am I going about this the wrong way? Should I look at a more complex jQuery implementation that calculates the height and also use that library for animation? Any suggestions?
  2. I'm looking for a lightweight image slider to add to a site. It just needs to be basic and doesn't need any flashy effects like some i've seen. I've actually noticed this one - http://responsiveslides.com/ but it hasn't been updated in a few years. So i'm looking for some suggestions really.
  3. I've been looking at various pieces of project management software and wondered if anyone any recommendations or suggestions. I've been taking notes of a few but some real world experience from people would be helpful. i'm working on my own, so really have no need at the moment for any team collaboration features. I've noticed some like InVision include Project management and workflow, I like the idea of this but have no experience if this all being integrated will be useful or a hindrance. Other I've seen are Trello, Erpal, Jumpchart, freedcamp, basecamp the list goes on. I like the idea of being able to plan a site, show the flow of the site and make notes in the software which otherwise might be on post-it's or scattered throughout a diary. I would prefer something free (who wouldn't) but i'm not opposed to paying a fee or subscription if it saves time in the long run. Any feedback would be appreciated
  4. I'm trying to find the efficent way of creating a box with an arrow on the outside of it. The way of create it so far seems fairly inefficent, any ideas of a more streamlined way of doing it? This is how i'm creating it currently. http://codepen.io/nigelhathaway/pen/bff31186329c3b743498ba91271d4f2f/
  5. Exactly that! Just looking for some creative examples of it. Updated my post, thanks!
  6. I'm looking for examples of guided annotations/Tours on websites. So basically a site could be showcasing a peice of software. The user clicks through the steps, getting instructions/information from each message. Like this example supplied by user Fuzzy Logic - http://tourmyapp.com/# Anybody got any site suggestions?
  7. Can't you target the text with a span, apply the arrow to the span and use padding to move the arrow right?
  8. Colour seems to be ok on both of my monitors just for your info.
  9. I would possible give the blog titles a but more punch(bolder or different typeface). Also the cup icon doesn't seem to fit that well with the rest of the logo doesn't seem as sharp.
  10. Agree with whats been said already. One thing is the logo blends a bit into the header, so might be worth tweaking that in my opinion.
  11. PhunkRabbit: I'm playing with colour schemes at the moment thanks for the suggestion. Lev: It should have being aligned thanks for the tip. alzer81: I disagree mate, I think they contrast quite nicely in my opinion but appreciate your feedback.
  12. This is for a small business called maria's vintage chic that's selling vintage and shabby chic home-ware goods. I wanted to give a retro look with a modern twist, combining the script and san serif font. They also hand customise some of there goods, so though this tied in well with the script font, and the heart comes from the saying home is where the heart is, as there products are rustic and homely. Couple of variations included, any thoughts on it?
