Couple of quick points, design looks good, but the message is a little cluttered.
 
The menu is hard to read, we don't need an intro into every category, our team is obviously a team about staff at the company. You are making me read too much info, simple, fast navigations are a must, people just want to easily find their way around a site. So I'd ditch the menu intros.
 
"WhizBase: build unique solution that exactly meets your needs." This doesn't say what you do, I could have any problem, maybe you should be more specific?
 
I like the big picture on the home page, but you're making me look through a type of diagram the moment I hit your site, you should just be telling me straight up what you do and then have an image like this on a further information page.
 
Quick SEO point, your first word in your title and on your site is the most important for search engines, yours starts with 'Homepage' you're wasting one of the most vital places Google is reading for content on your site.
 
Your support says you're offline, during working hours... why not just lose it if it's not in effect?
 
Buy Now right at the top sends me straight off to a payment gateway, maybe I should be getting a summary of what I'm about to buy before leaving the website?

Hello one and all, my name is Melanie Day and I have just joined up to this forum today!
 
I am 25 years old and currently work in a company as a web designer / developer. I started out life as a graphic designed after college and worked in various rolls over 6 years. I have always had an interest in web design, and as it is an ever growing industry I decided to get on board.
 
I have now been working as a web designer for the past year and a half and really enjoy it. I find that there is always something new to learn so I know I will never find myself getting bored. I can code HTML and CSS. I have also self taught myself on SEO and feel I have become quite knowledgeable on the subject.

One further thought. Footers are for people, but it's kinda lost below the SEO stuff.
 
What if you left sufficient top margin on the SEO section to fit the footer in, then absolutely positioned the footer above it without changing the source order? That would seem to fit your aim of human visitors not bothering with the SEO stuff.

Accordion panels don't count as hidden text if they're done correctly - what Google looks for as hidden-text spamming is stuff that's set to display: none, or very similar text/background colours.
 
A well-coded accordion panel is applied to a visible element, so the panel is still visible in the absence of javascript. The js then sets the display property to hide the text until the accordion is activated.

The footer looks so much better here!
 
Really like the rollover links in the top right.

So, this SEO expert walks into a bar, pub, tavern, drinking establishment, Irish pub, theme pub...
 
You could always fit the more spammy stuff into jQuery accordions, reduce the visual impact a bit.
 
PS: Don't mean to sound harsh, I appreciate how hard this is for you. I've had a temporary site for the last couple of years; I'm scared to death of myself as a client.

Here's a few things for you to go other possibly, hope it helps...
 
LAYOUT
I think it would work much better if the logo and navigation were in a more obvious place (at the top).
 
Also the whole thing is too wide, it won't fit on a smaller screen. Perhaps you could reduce the font size of your navigation in order to free up some extra room? Maybe you could get rid of the apparel page since it's not in use and rename pedals to shop, then apparel info can go within this page.
 
 
PEDALS
There is no need for the page with the 3 pedals that you have to click before you can view the product, why don't you get rid of it? You're adding an extra click where it's not needed.
 
Also the add to cart option would work better as a button and that whole pricing area would sit better if it was beneath the product name and above the description text. Make it obvious, first rule of commercial web design... don't make me think.
 
COMMUNITY
Your text is quite condensed, try giving it some more line height. Also might work a little better if you make the font a dark grey #555 or #333 and then have your headlines in black.
 
The splits in the middle coloumn are very light and hardly visible, try making them 1px in height and a slightly darker shade of grey #ddd or #ccc perhaps?
 
CART
Try adding some padding to your shopping cart, it's very tightly pushed up to the edges, it would work better if it was given some space.

Definately go with the slideshow! alzers touched it up nicely maybe bit to much shadow though

I like it

its not bad. there seems to be a lack of strucuture though. when u oopen the page your eye gets dragged around the page without knowing where to focus. you may have too much content on the page. perhaps if you try to standardise the structure as per attachement it might bring some formity to the page. the footer is extremely copy heavy too. i know its probably all for SEO purposers but sometimes that can take away from the overall viewers experience.

I like it the colours they work well, but I would change a few things if it was mine.
 
Logo
I'd make it smaller and fit it across the top blue bar, it's going to be pushing your page content way too far down on other pages and it's not that important in comparison to your actual content.
 
Menu
The font works well for the logo but it's not super easily readable, I'd think about switching it to something a little more commercial and easy to read. Also try changing the colour of your menu splitters (//) they shouldn't be as prominent as your menu wording as they aren't as important.
 
Slideshow
I think your arrows could stand out more, they aren't obviously clickable and maybe make the option to view the full portfolio more of a button to make it clear you can jump off to another page.
 
Content
I noticed you said you are aiming to improve your SEO, you will need a lot more content on the page. You have no paragraphs it's just straight jump off's to other pages. You will need to talk about what you do a little, it doesn't have to be in peoples faces. Work on your keyword density while writting about what you do.
 
I think your links near the bottom should be capitalised too and try changing...

No problem at all, just remember your home page is your most important page for SEO content and then your link juice is spread to your other pages from that page. If you want the site to be optimised you have to start there. What you can do is have all the nice stuff at the top then a little further down start adding your SEO content in there.

A nice little trick I sometimes do to split the text is have 2 straight lines right next to each other, first one dark second one light and it looks like the page bevels a little to split the menu options.

You could possibly squeeze the little grey about me text a little closer together so it's more compact, hard to say without seeing it first. Also that's a sentence so it should have a full stop.
 
In your main body text, bold important words and add a few links to other pages with your services.
 
SIDE CONTENT
Maybe underline your links, as it's all the same colour as your main body text. You could also maybe add arrows to the start of each <li> rather than a straight bullet point to make it look slightly more attractive.

That's about it, good job on the designs so far!

Thanks very much for the image i did abit of editing and it was nearly perfect, then added one more line to my html and now everything is in perfect order... fingers crossed

Stick a background colour on your wrapper id in the stylesheet and it will fill to the bottom and it will fill the whole area. If you want the border down the middle you could always make a 1px (in height) image and repeat it down in the #wrapper style.
