  5. yep, i have not really created a good background yet and was surprised that no-one mentioned it before you. Plus all of the CSS and XHTML is now valid as it says in the header. Plus i will try out that hover link to see if it works.
  6. Thanks guys, what you guys have said is really helpful. But would anyone know a simple and understandable way of making my images have a hover status because i believe it means using java script which i get lost with very quickly.

  8. I recently started web designing and creating graphical products. I have not yet got any clients as I have only just started and not to sure where to start, but I created this portfolio, and it currently has the index and a show of some of the mock work I have done. I know there are faults there and it isn't the best portfolio but check it out and leave me some feedback.

Hey.. Im not that sure about javascript. but there is something i want to add to my site but there is no other way i can think of doing so without some complex CSS.... I want to have a button that you can click on and reveals a section of and at the same time pushes the section below down. Then when you click on the button below it that got moved down, the top section closes and this one opens and the same thing happens. I am not sure what this is called or how to do it, i was just wondering if anyone did??
  18. Sorry to say, dont like it much at all, it looks a bit too crowded, and black does not go with corwded. Also i think you got a bit carried away on the border front, its a bit over the top. Plus it could maybe do with a few more colours. But asside from all that its ok...
  19. yes sorry i mean making it slightly opaque...or whatever not to sure on the term but meaning u can see whats behind it through it... sorry if i make no sence..
