Ello, Anyone know a fix for the following issue? I have created a 100% width website, but when I resize the browser and use the horizontal scroll bar, the header and footer are the same size as the browser, therefore the background images in the header and footer scrolls off the screen.
  3. The features seem pretty neat, I think it would be worth learning to make these features available to all clients. It seems to be the simple ones the sell better.
  4. I wonder if the OP thinks the 'hits' have picked up now we are looking at it?
  5. I must admit, at first I could not be arsed with wordpress, but after watching a few video's and reading a certain book - I've come round to quite like the idea. An existing customer want his blog to match his website, hence the investigation. It seems pretty straight forward to make themes and I think I should give this a go. Maybe even start my own WP store like woothemes.com. Seems like a reasonably good way to earn a residual income. Any thoughts?
  6. About £30 then... do yourself a favour and do a better job than clubhabit.co.uk.
  7. Thanks Captain.
  8. Just looking on activecollab.com and like how their website works (home page links) - is that javascript?
  9. Ill give it a go tonight, Thanks Wickham.
  10. I didn't know that! Thanks. The main issue is with one of the sub-menu's <h3><a href="coaching.html" title="Coaching">Coaching</a></h3><br /> <li><a href="assessment.html" title="The Assessment Process">The Assessment Process</a></li><br /> <li><a href="individual-golf-lessons.html" title="Individual Golf Lessons">Individual Golf Lessons</a></li> <li><a href="group-golf-lessons.html" title="Group Golf Lessons">Group Golf Lessons</a></li> <li><a href="junior-golf-lessons.html" title="Junior Golf Lessons">Junior Golf Lessons</a></li> <li class="indent"><a href="junior-group-coaching.html" title="Junior Group Coaching">Junior Group Coaching</a></li> <li class="indent"><a href="kids-parties.html" title="Kids Parties">Kids Parties</a></li> <li><a href="beginner-group-lessons.html" title="Beginner Group Lessons">Beginner Group Lessons</a></li><br /> <li><a href="expect-of-me.html" title="What you can expect of me">What you can expect of me</a></li> <li><a href="expect-of-you.html" title="What I expect of you">What I expect of you</a></li><br /> <li><a href="packages.html" title="Packages">Packages</a></li> <li><a href="russell-for-the-day.html" title="Russell For The Day">Russell for the Day</a></li> <li><a href="gift-vouchers.html" title="Gift Vouchers">Gift Vouchers</a></li> <li><a href="corporate-team-building.html" title="Corporate Team Building">Corporate - Team Building</a></li><br /> I'm thinking the problem is coming with the break tags - so I think I should add a few more ul tags. The other issue is the bullet points are showing as a 1x1 pixel dot instead of a disc. <p><strong>What you can expect of me:</strong></p><br /> <p><span class="quote">'I have no special talents, I am only passionately curious'</span> - Albert Einstein</p><br /> <p>I will be totally committed to your personal success. My goal is to:</p><br /> <ul><li>Understand You - my willingness to listen, not just hear </li><br /> <li>Enthuse You - the real secret to all success is enthusiasm. </li><br /> <li>Challenge You - <span class="quote"> 'Probably the best qualities a coach can possess is a lot of challenging questions and let the person come up with the answer ' </span>- <strong>Phil Dixon</strong></li><br /> <li>Advise You - helping you to be the best you can be or being the best version of yourself…authentically and consistently</li><br /> <li>Fairness & Integrity - everything is upfront and put on the table. There are no hidden agendas; honesty is one of my key values. </li><br /> <li>Inspire You - help you learn from your experiences and push you to find your own answers. There must be no confusion on what the end result is to be.</li></ul></p><br /> I'm not sure how to cure that, apart from putting them into classes instead?
  11. I'd kill to learn all this stuff....
  12. I think I've worked it out. The initial problem was that I had one website on one "test" domain, then the exact same files on the actual server. With no difference with the files at all. The test server was displaying how I wanted it to, but the actual server wasn't. (NOTE: There were NO differences in the coding between the two domains) The test domain had previously been used in "compatibility mode" in IE. But the actual domain hadn't - hence the difference. As soon as I clicked compatibility mode for the actual domain - it displayed fine. Problem now is, I have to find out how to adapt the code to not require "Compatibility mode". Any suggestions? The only problem is with the unordered lists

  15. Anyone come across this before? I have moved a full website over to a new domain, as far as I can see all the files are there - but I'm getting the error symbol at the bottom of the page, my nav spaces has closed up and the bullet point have turned into red pixel? Both domains are on the same server... What would cause this?
  16. Right, I'm getting a gun... they won't take ME down! I'd love to get this Sh!t sussed as I have projects I want to play with. I guess the BEST way to learn is to piece it together bit by bit and then get it checked?
  17. I noticed you've added it to your website list too Well done for picking it up!
  18. Thank you. The thing that annoys me the most so far, is that they teach you how to do it - then say "but this can be hacked, go learn about security". Why not teach me the way that cant be hacked in the first instance?
  19. Thanks for your input. How about for a beginner. I have gone through w3schools and watched tutorials but it doesn't sink in.
  20. What is the best PHP tutorial website/book you have learnt from? Any advice for the Best PHP Book or tutorial website would be greatly received, as i'd love o find the most productive/effective way to learn.
  21. I don't understand that tool at all....
  22. You have to be picky when you make a statement like you do. +1 for finding it...
  23. Why the hell does the President of the United states of America have a Twitter account? I think this is a major security breach - the taliban could easily be hiding in his followers list...
