I use Chrome on my laptop because it is nice and clean, easy to use and is nice and secure. On my Desktop (64 bit) i use FF because chrome tends to play up a lot

Love the originality of this site, splitting the site into 2 gives it a nice effect whilst also providing handy functionality, especially on the portolio page where you have the site info one side and the screenshot on the other side.

I really like it! The grey pattern and red go nice together and i love the menu, simple but stylish.

Its a vast improvement on the original site, but i think it is lacking a little in flare and originality... just seems a bit too dull. Maybe a footer aswell?

I'm not too keen on this web design, i think there is a bit too much going on, with the contrast of the bold colors. I much prefer simple clean style sites but that is just my preference. I like the translucent backgrounds for the content though!

Thanks I have struggled to find a competent solution to this that has cross browser compatability! Who would have thought this would have been such a hard task to do? lol

The stages of the web described as "Web 2.0" etc were just a way of re-inventing the web when the internet bubble began to burst. It has many interpretations so its a bit hard to define web 3.0 but i think AJAX will play a major part in it aswell as HTML 5... but as for examples, i think you will need to wait a few years before you notice any sort of change of approach or to notice any suttle difference.

I would advise against it very much so! I would always use a font that is accessible on everyones computer (such as arial etc) and any areas where you want an alternative font use images (unless of course it is main content). Flash is a bit of a risk at the minute with its future being thrown into uncertainty with the increase in users using apple products without flash compatibility (iPad, iPhone and iPod). But if you are set on this then I would suggest using CSS and put the font on your server. But this is a potential legal mine field if it isn't your own font.

I have had a few problems with this too when ive done projects for clients. I mostly tried to work around this and try and avoid it where possible because i couldn't get it to be cross browser compatible.

I would always make sure your sites are coded using the correct code and validated. Its generally just good practice and will ensure your website will work correctly (unless you do something extravagant. Also it will make your site more appealing to search bots crawling your site.
