CSS3 Animation - Hover effect on icons
On the name of animation, flash automatically pops up in the mind, but flash is no longer required to create web-based animation. There are many stunning examples of CSS3 animation. Here, I have come up with the hover effects on the icons. These icon effects can easily be used by just copy paste in the project. http://realityonweb.com/cascading-style-sheet-css/css3-animation-hover-effects-on-icons/

Need your review feedback for my site design
Hi Rameez Thanks for your input, It would be great if you can guide me about the color combination, is it not good as whole or in some part (which part) it can be improved. Thanks Gopal Juneja

Which website do you prefer?
Off course the second one is better, a few observations. Main navigation has accessibility issue because of wrong color combination. Hover effects are not visible properly. Main image banner should have a neutral color border or some other element which could absord image of any color. while moving from top to bottom footer got very dark all of a sudden. Gopal Juneja

Pros and cons of using CSS framework
I am trying to find out the pros and cons of using CSS frame work in an application and listed a few here, looking for experts’ advice on it whether to use CSS framework or not. Cons • CSS framework class names have no semantic meaning which messed up the content layer with presentation layer. • CSS framework limits the design by compelling to use set of predefined widths. • CSS framework will come with predefined code most of which will never be used. Pros • CSS framework controls common cross-browser issues. • CSS framework usually has 80% of code written which speeds up the development. • CSS framework promote structured and grid system.

Should we really care about to make the CSS file w3c validated?
We apply vendor prefixes –moz- and -webkit- to use the css3 properties, which is great we are up to date with new technology and participating to improve the web design future, but the downside is that it will not be validated as w3c standards. Vendor prefixes are not recognized as official CSS properties and it will not change as vendor prefixes are proprietary and specific to vendors that invent it. Should we really care about this to make the CSS file w3c validated?
