Are there anyone here who can make facebook applications as I want to ask for some advice?

I spoke to a computer shop and they said they'll contact me if they ever need my laptops. Hopefully they'll take it off my hands as I could do with the money. But thanks for the advice.

Yes I went there. Changing the file permissions didnt resolve the problem. This error doesnt matter anymore as I heard back from another wdf member who told me, that to install extensions I just have to upload extension through ftp, which is what he did and it worked.

I got help from another wdf member. He installed the Mod Html extension for me. I tried to see if the error was resolved by trying to install anyother extension, but I still can't install extensions myself. I now get the error message: Warning, failed to move file.

Hi, I have set up joomla on . After the setup, I have tried to install an extension, but I keep getting an error message. This is the message I'm getting: JFTP::store: Bad response Warning! Failed to move file. I have tried to correct this. I thought the error was the ftp details in configuration.php. I thought perhaps I was using the wrong ip address for ftp host, so I tried changing it but I still get an error message. I have already enabled ftp. What am I doing wrong?

Your site looks nice but the layout seems a little basic. Top links and on the side and the font is a little boring. The wolverhampton site stands out. I like the layout. The placement of text and the 3boxes. Everything is well placed and presented. Its flash and modern.

For improvements, have you looked at similar sites such as http://www.wolverhamptonclc.co.uk/ for inspiration. Your site looks nice but is more basic compared to the other site. It needs more details and the wow factor like the above site has.

I dont want to fix the one that wont turn on, as I got another laptop that I use and my brother that I live with, has a pc. Are there anyother sites apart from ebay? Ebay uses paypal and I'm suspended from paypal and also ebay as well. There's a good reason for this but no need to explain. Who buys individual parts? Computer shops or some other business?

Hi, I just want to ask you guys for advice. I got 2 damaged laptops. They've been in my wardrobe for a while. I thought it would be better to try to sell them, rather than throw them away. For one of them, the motherboard is damaged and the other is an old laptop which doesnt turn on. I called a repair shop to see if they would buy it, they said from what they heard, it might not be worth repairing. Are there any other places that would buy these laptops like a recycling company? Any recommendations?

I cant find the following info: Could I make the application private as in you have to register on my website to use the application. You cant add app from app directory on facebook. Also I want the application to display different info for each user. So registered members on my site, each will enter some details which will show on the application. So the application will look different for each user.
