  3. Thanks for the input guys, Given me some sick ideas about where to take my site and how to make it look, I'll tend towards more neutral colours and I think a much simpler layout, without maybe only two columns, none boxy and a nice header. Thanks for the help guys n' gals
  4. I have 3 "websites", non of which are complete, ran out of steam half way through. However my latest one will get finished
  5. Depending on what page is being looked at etc the boxes change, but im creating something a bit more colourful now

  8. A good way to learn to code is to write SUDO code first. If you don't know what this means it is basically writing your program without a programming language to work out how you will do it etc, then work out the PHP code behind it by looking around on the internet. For example: Sudo: if name = surge then return true else return false endif PHP: if($name = 'surge') { return true; } else { return false; } That way you know what you will actually do, before you do it, give it a try next time you don't know how to do something.
  9. You could always just teach him some basic HTML and he can use notepad to update his pages.
