  1. It's an Icecast server.
  2. Cool, so how do I do that?
  3. Hi WDF! I am a web designer for an internet radio station website, and on the site we have an image that shows whether the station is on air, off air or in 24/7 mode. Up until now this has been toggled via a script set to change the image at different times. But now a lot the presenters broadcast at different times so I would like to make a toggle on a separate page of the site. Where the presenters can go to and toggle between ON AIR, 24/7 & OFF AIR. Perhaps with a radio button system? Once toggled the image will change on the website. Any pre-made scripts that can do this? Or is anybody willing to make me one? Thanks!
  4. I manage the design and development of an internet radio website, I'd like mobile visitors to be redirected to a different path automatically. What kind of scripts are available that will help me to do this? I'm guessing something to detect the user-agent of the mobile device really. If somebody could point me in the right direction that would be great! thanks.
  5. I'm having a hard time finding a nice looking IRC web client any help? It needs to have the following features: Preferably not a JAVA Client Nice UI Very Customizable Simple Login Window Easy to use Buttons Like 'Register' Fast to Load Able to be Embedded Into Website Able to be Resized Easily Any help with this would be highly appreciated! Many thanks,
  6. Oh really, well it doesn't say anything about how hard it would be on the qwebirc website, hmm could anybody else clarify this?
  7. Hey guys, I've found an awesome looking ajax IRC client called qwebirc http://qwebirc.org it's used at http://webetalk.com But I don't have a clue how to install it? It uses Python and stuff which I don't understand, I have read the FAQ on the website but I still don't understand how to get it up and running? any help here? Many thanks!
  8. Thanks, I appreciate your comments Interesting idea, I will look into it, thanks!
  9. Any ideas where I could implement more colours into the page?
  10. Hey OzzyB, thanks for the comments and I will take your comment about colour on board as it does look at little grey, any suggestions on how I could spruce it up? Tables eh!? Noo, thats not my style
  11. I agree with Neil, the design needs more contrasting colours!
  12. That's just brilliant! One of the best designed WAP sites I've ever seen thats for sure, and I could be wrong but I'm a little concerned about the loading time on mobiles, make sure you optimize all the images as much as possible, but other than that I really like it! Oh and also, I don't like those 'home' and 'more winners' buttons, I think they should be a bit more rounded with a more softer gradient, and maybe a different colour like maybe grey/black would look better.
  13. Interesting design, its fairly nice, but hears a few points: The colour scheme is a bit strange, consilder taking one of the colours out! The corners on the main content area are not very well created, consider re-doing them and maybe making them a bit smaller Apart from that, not bad!
  14. It's a very nice design, I really like the colours and the donation progress bar type thing. But I think the sponsors panel could be worked on a little better as the images are a bit randomly placed (in Chrome anyway) and should have a better background texture. Also in the navigation I feel that the horizontal line underneath it isn't really needed. But overall its an awesome design!
  15. It's not a bad site, although it is made with the dreaded tables! Tables are traditionally mean't to be used for displaying data, not for layout. Consider learning how to make websites using DIV tags which can be styled using CSS. I also think the banner could be more simpler, and that the navigation needs some more space to breathe (padding).
  16. Yeah I will fix that have now fixed the line border positioning error and I'll update I have updated the photo to reflect that. The point you made about the size of the logo is a was a good point, and I will have make that a bit bigger, thanks! Thanks for the feedback, any further comments will be appreciated! Have I made the logo too big now?
  17. I really like it, I havent seen a design much like it before, it looks cool and professional. I agree, a lot of the images on there are quite humorous too !
  18. It's ok, but its not great. If you want to create websites properly I'd suggest using DIV tags rather than tables. Tables are meant for data NOT layout.
  19. This website is integrated into WordPress so that I can manage the website easily, and also have a blog on it. It's not finished yet and where the photo frame with the flowers in will be a slideshow of recent websites that I have created, anyway please list some thoughts and improvements for me, thanks! Revision 2: Changed logo size, and corrected border alignment error.
  20. I am creating a personal portfolio site to display my design work and would like to show this monochrome Apple logo at a height of 35px just to show that I use an Apple computer to design the sites. What are the copyright restrictions on this? Will I have to get Apple's permission for such a small little graphic?
  21. Thats an interesting issue, we have permission to play all the music we play so would using torrents to share the tracks be okay? Hmm, if so I cannot think of another solution xD
  22. tried that here but nothing appears: else{ echo '<img id="air" src="http://tunevibez.com/new/layoutimages/off.png" alt="Off air" />'; echo file_get_contents('http://91.201.64.53/tunevibez/listeners.php'); } ?>
  23. I get the error: Warning: file_get_contents(http://91.201.64.53:8000/my.xsl) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /hermes/web07/b2606/moo.tunevibez/tunevibez/new/includes/air.php on line 8
  24. I know, but I couldnt think of another way, but thanks!
  25. Number of listeners is displayed here when on air 91.201.64.53:8000/my.xsl Trying to embed as iframe, but its not going in the right position
