  1. Okay Thanks for the help
  2. Thanks buddy, so this function (the typing out) is already coded and in a library? sorry for the questions im not much of a developer but looking to get into this kind of stuff. Thanks, Chris
  3. Hi everyone, just wanted to know how the site dinnerbone.com works. (How the browser types out the message like that). Im thinking jquery some sort of animation technique? I dont know hence me posting. Thanks in advance
  4. Okay thanks, isn't there some way of uploading the font to the server and linking it from that or something like that? Saw something about it on nettuts a long time ago, ill have a look through.
  5. Thanks for the feedback, ill build in a function that allows you to change font colour if, for some people, the text is hard to read. And the text is Century Gothic, perhaps I need to use a more universal font? Thanks, Chris
  6. Thanks for the tip, didn't know that one
  7. Thanks I was going for the simple clean look, can some times be hard to pull off but i think I did okay
  8. Hi all, I have just designed my new portfolio and got it upload just want to know what you guys think and how I can improve it? Does the concept of one page work? At the moment this wont be the final design just wanted some feedback. http://www.vizualweb.co.uk/chrisbailey Thanks
  9. Looks great, has a lot of potential. At first glance of the homepage it appears to be a bit plain and boring, so perhaps add some images to enhance the home page. And to make the design more consistent you could put a border around the intro bit (I am Tom.. etc) like you have put the border around the other content boxes. Good job!
  10. Its been a while since ive done this but a while ago I did this for a client, you simply create the login name and password fields and place them onto your design, then set the form process as the login you want to use, in this case your ics login process.
  11. Seems way too boxy and old-fashioned, try using a wider colour range? And try experimenting with using rounded boxes, more images (perhaps screenshots of the game?).
  12. Nice design, doesn't display the header properly though (the top of the nav and logo is cut off). And the site isn't very search engine friendly as there is no content within the mark up. And the code isn't valid (14 errors).
  13. I went for Vizualweb for shortness but im currently moving some money into my other account to buy the other. Thanks for all the feedback!
  14. I would charge around £400 for the site, then add some other charges when updating the site if the client needs the website updated. And true the site doesn't validate but I guess that is okay if you are still developing the site.
  15. Hello, Ive been developing my web site for quite a while now and feel it is ready, I am just about to purchase a domain but I am not really sure which domain to go for: The name of the website is Vizual Web Design, but I am not sure whether to buy the domain 'vizualweb.co.uk' or 'vizualwebdesign.co.uk'. Any advice to help me decide which one I should go for would be great. Thanks in advance! Chris.
