How do i improve the Gray Background of the DIV, then? I don't know :/

The game isn't out yet, so i will do that later. But i will use your tip about more colors and rounded boxes. Any ideas on how to fix the zooming bug?

Ok i'm using a free template i found and it has this logo (it's sides are merged a little in the BG): You see it has a search bar on it that you cannot remove that easily (no PSD or GIMP file)...do any of you guys know how to remove it? Or maybe if someone could do it, make a new one similar to that one, but without the search bar (the sizes for objects and the image must remain the same though) I would really appreciate that, since i contacted the skins original maker, but he doesn't respond :/

I admit, i'm no awesome Web-designer To be honest i'm much more of a Programming guy But i'm making a website for my community and it just doesn't look good enough (really plain) and there are some glitches. Anyways i would be really grateful if you would give me some tips on how to make the site look more professional/modern and Sci-Fi (it is a community about an upcoming Sci-Fi MMORPG - MechScape). http://mechtopia.net/projectx/lolmaorofl/newst0f/index.php Also there is some kind of a glitch when you zoom (at least in Firefox).
