I've been working on version 2 of my football site, Juvenorge.com, for quite some time. Now it's finished! What do you think of it? Anything you would've changed? Bad coding? Tell me. I would as much feedback as possible.

I really like it, the site navigation could still do with that extra "spark" if you know what I mean.

I used to have the same background solution (sebra stripes) at the navigation too, but I deceided to remove it because it was more of an discration than nice. Maybe I will put it back for you to see.

Love the content layout, it looks great. The header and menu are not really doing it for me though, I am not sure what it is. I think maybe where the content layout looks like so much time has been put in getting it perfect. It looks like the header and menu could do with an update as well.

Which menu are you talking about? The horisontal or the right one? I think you are talkning about the horisontal one, and yes, it could need some more work. I'm not quite sure about what I should do with it, but I will take a look at it.

 

I will take a look at the header too. It's really just the same header as on the current site, but I've shrinked it a bit to fit better with the design. I'm really more of a coder than a graphic designer, so I'm not sure I can do any better.

Hi yes, it is the horizontal menu I was talking about. Everything below that looks really, really good. The magazine style it seems to work very well, and it is nice and easy to scan the content.

I really like the site. It certainly fits in with it's subject matter. A definite improvement over version 1 (which isn't half bad either!). I do agree with the comment about the horizontal menu though, I think it needs something extra but can't put my finger on it....

 

On the whole, great work.

ok seperate it...with space or a line or...

 

i think the site looks great but picked up on others mentioning the horizontal menu which to me looks fine but think might look better if better identified as a menu e.g.

 

header/banner

nav

content

 

right now it looks a bit like

 

header/banner

nav/content

 

that being the nav and content seem to be part of the same section of the page..

 

make sense?
