March 28, 20206 yr I just found for sale on another website it for like 8$! That seems too good to be true, no? They sent me two zip files, one Elementor, one Pro... and it is working now on my site! But is this a hack or something bad, could I get into trouble for this?

March 29, 20206 yr If that’s the case they need to pay full price. Have you asked them why they want it? Have you pointed out all the pitfalls?
March 29, 20206 yr Author OK. I had a weekend playing with it all and it was worth the eight dollars. For the 199$ they can use the company credit card. I am not aware of pitfalls. This is all new to me. I usually code alone, no CMS... 🤔
March 30, 20206 yr Some of main pitfalls: 1. Truly awful code 2. You will be locked in to their model forever 3. Switching themes becomes so much more complicated 4. its mostly unnecessary 5. The UX on small screens is very poor.
