Wow looks great!

One thing in the header: I do not like the colour & pattern of the 3 circles that span from the building. I am talking about the 3 circles just to the bottom right of your logo. But that is a small thing.

Thanks pendulum its good to have some critics because we sometimes miss some minor details that sometimes we assume looks better in the design. :)

Funky looking website, couple things i noticed

- In your header the cityscape end ratther abrubly, makes it feel like something you just stuck in there cause it looked cool, not because it fits in the design.

- subheaders are a bit dull. Not sure if you use the right font and color. The red is a bit warning like and maybe it works better if you use a cleaner font. Maybe you can use some effects from your main header in your subheaders.

It's a great looking site. Very nicely done. I agree, if you look at the header closely is it slightly disjointed, but the overall visual effect it produces is amazing!

The rest of the site is great - nice layout, good contrast, easy on the eye. Very well done.

kabayan..

i think there is too much elements going on there. not a fan of skylines and stuff. i suggest you to simplify things and come up with something clean. just to inform you, the site wont validate at all and you might want to fix that if i were you.

Thanks rjdejong, Kier and notbansky for your great input I will work on it and see what I can come up with.

Kabayan.

We want it to become a busy metropolis so much is happening but at the same time maintain a clean visual appeal.

As I said site is still under development validating will take place when we are satisfied with all of its functions and features in place.

Bless you guys. I will let you know of its updates.

Your header contains elements which do not fit the fun style you are going for.

The tower thing (some landmark?) with the circles , the purple&red circles and the city scape do not match with the Complete Manilla logo and the sky-type background as that bit is cartoony and the elements I have mentioned aren't.

Also on your navigation, there is no way to tell what page you are on, and the subheaders which are red and have a 1px border don't fit the style.

Sorry to be so negative. I really like the style you are going for, but you haven't quite gotten there. Make sure everything fits the style and you'll have a great website.

I have now totally revamped the banner and removed the unnecessary designs and came up with this.

Sorry about the navigation it is under php include function so its like universal snippet for all the pages and has a default properties but we have finally fixed it now thankfully.

So you will know what page you are by the fold paper on the tab.

Again thaks for the input guys

Wow, what a huge difference!

That's sooo much better, really funky.

Perhaps redraw the stop sign in the same style?

Hi really nice looking site the only small thing I did notice is that when browsing with safari and 1024x768 you need to scroll side ways no big thing but something that I personally don't like.

But as I say I really do like the look. :D

Thanks guys for your honest replies.

But apparently others and some of my colleagues doesn't like the 2nd design and it takes hours designing the banners and other layouts including the codes on the site and this I want to make sure that I'm on the right track and I don't want to go back redesigning again. Can I get your 2nd opinions about this.

Though it pains me to do this I was ordered to revert back to the 1st design.

Here is the 1st design

2nd design

Your opinions is highly appreciated. Thanks^_^

Really awesome, huge improvement the second design. Wouldn't change much to it. Just a small thing the content floats a bit because the blue is gone

Well done mate,

I'm going to buck the trend and say the first design is my choice. The second design initially looks maybe cleaner, but the more I look at it, it starts to loose its soul, it feels empty and on the edge of everything, rather then the centre of the hussle and bussel of a big city like Menila. It made me feel like I was all alone and out of the action, something like the sensation of being in Milton Keynes.

The first one I like most, I feel like I'm part of the action, like i'm not missing out on anything, like I've been thrown into a metropolis. I would say though that the cityscape ends to soon and to clean on the left, I would extand it or overlay the end with one of your swerly werlies.

If the site is to reflect Menila, and give the visitor a feel for the vibrant crusible that it is, the first one does that for me. The second one is way to clean, organised and maybe a little lifeless (Which Menila is not). Though as a graphical offering it really is extremely impressive.

This is just my opinion. But I love the excitment of the first design.

Amen

Lmao. You've clearly never been there have you?

And by the way its spelled Manila ;)

Never been much of a speller. I have seen it on TV though. But what is your point? is Manila a very tidy, clean and steralised place then? You must have been, what is it like? :D

Thanks for the huge response from you guys I wouldn't have made a choice without your opinions. And for fast michaels pointing out the correct reflection of what we are aiming for. That settles it 1st design will be followed and just add a little more tweaking to the design as suggested.

Thanks a million guys.

I just looooooveeee iittttt! Sweet!

Which program did you use?

I used Adobe Illustrator. If you need help just PM me.
