Responsive Table Html Code Request

Featured Replies

I am looking for a responsive table html code where I can adjust the column widths and cell colors.  Basically, I would like the table to consist of 4 columns and 7 rows with the left side column wider than the rest.  Is any one aware of how I can accomplish this?  Thanks.

I'd start by taking a look at Responsive Tables by Chris Coyier; there's an update there as well but it explains the theory quite well.

Thank you for your response.  How can I combine the html and css into one coding?  I tried combining them by inserting the css code below the html and it isn't rendering correctly.  I built a New Google Site.  So, I can embed both html and css codes, but they need to be combined into  one code.

If you are using google sites you will struggle to make this work.

However wrap the css in <style>...</style> tags and add it just before the table.

Tables and responsiveness are kind of an oxymoron aren't they?

Some people are scared of tables thinking their "old school" when in reality they're the correct markup for table data, just not for design structure.
