Hi

I was wondering if someone could give me so advice. I am looking to get into Digital Marketing and need to be able to build and edit websites. I have looked at local courses, but they don't seem to offer a lot in this area.

What is the best way of learning this? I am currently a teaching assistant and need to get out as I have had enough.

Regards

Michelle

HI Michelle,

Digital marketing is a huge field, I doubt you will be able to cover all the bases so maybe focus on just one or two methods.

As to the need to build and edit websites, you are better off employing a freelancer to build the sites as again learning everything from scratch mean climbing a huge mountain.

However, this is a decent reference book to get you started: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Web-Style-Guide-4th-Foundations-ebook/dp/B01J26RR5I/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1504276682&sr=8-1&keywords=web+style+guide

Hi chelle3201, I would suggest diving into wordpress.

I myself was a noob about 8 years ago and still do not know codingbut wordpress allows me to make elaborate websites and have plenty of info on how to adapt their code.

Look into making child themes as soon as you can as it will open a world of awesome.

Again I am not a coder but know now how to make wordpress my own-.ish,m last website I just finished today is: http://www.amsterdamglassworx.com/

And stay here as there always was a good amount of help when I got started.
