May 6, 200719 yr I've got it Just having a little play with it, looks and feels great! So so fast, brilliant... I love it Oli
May 6, 200719 yr Fancy...not got the cash myself, so will be sticking with Studio 8 for quite a while. I wouldn't mind an upgrade to the web premium version as then I'd get a version of photoshop and illustrator which would be really handy, but as I want to go to Iceland this year I'd rather save £500 odd towards that rather than buy software. Still waiting to win the lottery!
May 6, 200719 yr Is it cross platform? Or do you have to buy platform specific? I recently had to buy COntribute for a client and was shocked to find that you had to either buy Mac or PC whereas before the adobe/macromedi merge you always got a cross platform CD.
May 7, 200719 yr I must start saving up I think. One website and I should get it. Isit easy to pick-up for a CS2 user?

May 8, 200719 yr Author I must start saving up I think. One website and I should get it. Isit easy to pick-up for a CS2 user? Very similar, just A LOT faster on mac and no more floating panels... thank god for that! Oli
May 8, 200719 yr that's good news - one of the main reason for not working on the mac is the interface - I much prefer the interface on the pc - no floating panels.
May 8, 200719 yr Author that's good news - one of the main reason for not working on the mac is the interface - I much prefer the interface on the pc - no floating panels. all sorted now
May 8, 200719 yr Gorgeous! Love all the little icons too. Can't wait to discover all the new functionality. You can now download the demo's from www.adobe.com - 30 day trials I believe. But still allows you to play and decide if you want to buy or not. In fact, I will go do that now. http://www.adobe.com/products/creativesuite/web/standard/
May 8, 200719 yr Author tempted to join you, but will loading that mess up my studio 8? It shouldn't I have flash 8 + CS3 and Dreamweaver 8 +CS3 and it's all working well. They do advice to remove previous install of adobe product tho... (like if you have photoshop x and want to install CS3 you should remove the older version)... Adobe vs Adobe Adobe vs Macromedia Oli
May 9, 200719 yr I'm gonna get cs3 pretty soon too. Theres new more exciting icons out for them now too!
