Fancy...not got the cash myself, so will be sticking with Studio 8 for quite a while. I wouldn't mind an upgrade to the web premium version as then I'd get a version of photoshop and illustrator which would be really handy, but as I want to go to Iceland this year I'd rather save £500 odd towards that rather than buy software. Still waiting to win the lottery!

Is it cross platform? Or do you have to buy platform specific? I recently had to buy COntribute for a client and was shocked to find that you had to either buy Mac or PC whereas before the adobe/macromedi merge you always got a cross platform CD.

just reading a review - not sure my old G4 could handle the software!

oh you lucky Bast*** i cant afford it too lol but will there be any demo versions

It isn't cross platform... :(

I'm sure trial version will come out soon!

Very similar, just A LOT faster on mac and no more floating panels... thank god for that!

Oli

that's good news - one of the main reason for not working on the mac is the interface - I much prefer the interface on the pc - no floating panels.

It shouldn't I have flash 8 + CS3 and Dreamweaver 8 +CS3 and it's all working well. They do advice to remove previous install of adobe product tho... (like if you have photoshop x and want to install CS3 you should remove the older version)...

Adobe vs Adobe :nea:

Adobe vs Macromedia :friends:

Cool your like the luckyest person ever, and you have a mac. Well it could be a PC acting as a Mac. I did that once. LUCKYY! :yahoo:

haha my mac is pure mac. I wouldn't lower myself to the tone of being a windows user and having to fake a mac :p
