Well after many months of me pestering the agency owners that our website desperately needed rebuilding and modernizing. Here's the final result.

what are your thoughts, any room for improvement? We're in the process of adding English pages but right now it's all in Swedish.

The backend is built in Craft, and thanks goes out to @@Jack for introducing us to the CMS. The front-end is coded using the in-house framework that I've been building up over the past year :)

Looks awesome. Feels very polished.

When the time comes to translate those pages, the multilingual stuff built into Craft will save you a tonne of time. It makes that sort of thing ridiculously easy. What did the backend devs think overall?

Thanks Jack!

It was Andreas who pretty much did all the backend, so nobody else has so much experience with it yet. It seemed very nice, but the code for the main navigation got a bit messy as I needed to add in spans with SVGs into anchors with children to allow them to be toggled on mobile, I imagine there is a neater solution - in terms of the back-end than what we came up with..

Indeed very polished and document size is really good (but I'd expect that from you :) ) !

Can't say I'm a huge fan of background video and inline animations - they tend to distract me or make me go dizzy - but if it works for you...

Nice to see reasonable keyboard navigation as well with links changing colour, though I still find outlined links when active much easier to see, what with me being colour blind as well!

Thanks for the feedback @BlueDreamer. We're making a list of any bugs / things we can do to improve so that will help us.

To be fair I'm not overly in love with the video either, but that's more the content, I wanted something like you see on the Apple Music homepage, that was my inspiration. Of course the production value here is some way behind Apple's offering, and doesn't convey as well as it should--what we do. I wish I could have had more input here but this is what we've got to work with now,

Animations we want to use to grab users attention, but I can look at making them a little more subtle.

I have constant discussions with our designer about colouring and increasing the contrast in our designs - Yes subtleties can look great, but it should not be at the expense of UX for users with imperfect vision. I have told them that in our designs likes, especially those in body text should be underlined or of a very stark contrast to the surrounding text otherwise colour blind users will miss them. This is more important than 'beautiful' design in my opinion.

I must admit I had not really considered keybord navigation or tested it, I've been so focused on other areas so thanks for point that out. I will look into what you've suggested there :)

Very nice job. Congratulations :)

Maybe the footer-elements could be done a bit different. The sitemap and contact sections have different line heights. I guess you've done it to give the sections the same overall height but it looks a bit strange that two elements with similar typography rules have different line heights. Also I think it will give the footer more ballance if you place the call to action element in the center. Because this element differs much from the others it makes the footer apear asymmetrical when it is placed at the left.

Anyway this is all tiny deatials. The overall layout is done very well.

Thanks for the feedback :)

We gave the contact list more space between the items to help make them stand out, the line height is the same as you can see where the address breaks onto two lines.

I'm not sure about the CTA being in the center, I mentioned it to our designer and he said it would lose prominence, because we have the blue CTA directly above the footer and also in the center.. I'm not a designer so I'm not sure. Will see what other team members think.

All of the thoughts been posted here are being shared with the team so thanks for everybodys feedback so far!
