Is this possible or just too complicated?

Hi folks

I'm working on a site for a local youth football club. I'm using a stock theme on Joomla and would really love to incorporate some of the designs seen on Tympanus / Codrops such as the Split Layout, Minimal Form Interface and Elastic Content Slider. However I try though, I can't get them to work without messing up my existing site layout. Whilst the code has been helpfully provided on the Codrops / Blueprint site, there are no instructional articles and my attempts at adding these to my site have proved disastrous.

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to add these components (e.g. as modules or articles) to an existing Joomla site and how I may go about doing this? Or am I wasting my time?

Thanks

You won't easily achieve a split layout with a stock template unless you are prepared to do a lot of development. Just pick up a commercial template that does what you want. I use Youjoomla, they also have modules that would achieve the slider effect you are looking for, although tabs and a lot of other stuff is standard in their framework, so you might not need any other modules.

For the form interface, look on the Joomla Extensions Directory, there are several components that would fit the bill.
