October 29, 201411 yr Hi all, I have created a file upload script but it keeps failing for some reason? HTML <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" /> <title>Untitled Document</title> </head> <body> <form action="script.php" method="post" enctype="multipart/form-data"> <input type="file" name="file_array" /> <input type="submit" value="Upload" /> </form> </body> </html> PHP <?php if(isset($_FILES['file_array'])){ $name_array = $_FILES['file_array']['name']; $tmp_name_array = $_FILES['file_array']['tmp_name']; $type_array = $_FILES['file_array']['type']; $size_array = $_FILES['file_array']['size']; $error_array = $_FILES['file_array']['error']; for($i = 0; $i < count($tmp_name_array); $i++){ if (move_uploaded_file($tmp_name_array[$i], "/uploads/".$name_array[$i])){ echo $name_array[$i]." Upload is Complete<br>"; } else { echo "move_uploaded_flie function failed for ".$name_array[$i]."<br>"; } } } ?> Any Ideas? Thanks
December 28, 201411 yr What exactly happens when you try to upload the file? Do you get the message you specified in the else section? Have you tried setting the permission on the upload folders to a permission level which does allow for uploading and modifying files?
