What's this pop-up system called?

Featured Replies

Hi,

http://www.sonicacademy.com

When you click on login on register in the top right corner, it opens some kind of light box but with text. What's this called?

I'd like to have the same on my site, it seems to be good for info windows and stuff like that.

I hope integration with Wordpress won't be too hard :)

Thanks all!

Weird I've been using Fancybox for a while on another site of mine. But what do they do to have text only? And with HTML inside, etc., is there anything to pay attention to? As far as I know it was made for pictures not HTML or PHP content. Hm.

Alright excuse the question, but I've had a look into this, and it seems to be more complicated than it looked haha. First, you must know, I'm not really geeky, so copy & pasting is all good for me but when it gets more complex I often don't know where to begin.

The thing is, I'm using a self-hosted Wordpress site where I have a plugin which is the fancybox plugin. ("Fancybox for Wordpress")

Now I have no idea where to put the code from the site you linked me to, Teodora, nor what makes this DIV pop up like that (I don't want all div's to be like this… just when you press on one single specific link on the site, which is meant to be an info box).

Anyone know? :D

Usually the plugin will have some documentation that will tell you where to put any code or images etc. Otherwise you can go to the plugin site and look for documentation there or contact them if necessary.
