June 16, 200818 yr My name's Ady Smith. I make websites, mainly using PHP and MySQL. I'm probably more of a musician than though. I play drums in a band, sing in a choir, I can play piano and a little bit of guitar / bass and I compose a lot of music. I'm also experienced in using programs such as Cubase, Fruityloops and Sibelius to write music. Anyway, back onto webdesign. I've written about two big projects in the last year or so. One of them is a hosted forum software which you can check out here, and the other is a medieval / mythic online RPG community, similar to Gaia Online. I even designed the user's avatars myself and created a system for you to buy clothes and wear them and it shows up on your avatar. You can change your combination of clothes... it's pretty cool. June 17, 200818 yr Author Thanks for the welcomes. About sound on websites, I generally think it's a bad idea. It gets annoying, especially if there is no on / off button. But really it depends how it is used. I mean a simple click for a menu hover is a nice feature to add (if the sound used isn't annoying).
