Hey people I'd be really grateful if someone could point me in the right direction. I need an image GD function that'll put another image from a GIF file onto the current image. Is this possible? Thanks, Ady

Thanks for the welcomes. About sound on websites, I generally think it's a bad idea. It gets annoying, especially if there is no on / off button. But really it depends how it is used. I mean a simple click for a menu hover is a nice feature to add (if the sound used isn't annoying).

My name's Ady Smith. I make websites, mainly using PHP and MySQL. I'm probably more of a musician than though. I play drums in a band, sing in a choir, I can play piano and a little bit of guitar / bass and I compose a lot of music. I'm also experienced in using programs such as Cubase, Fruityloops and Sibelius to write music. Anyway, back onto webdesign. I've written about two big projects in the last year or so. One of them is a hosted forum software which you can check out here, and the other is a medieval / mythic online RPG community, similar to Gaia Online. I even designed the user's avatars myself and created a system for you to buy clothes and wear them and it shows up on your avatar. You can change your combination of clothes... it's pretty cool. Anyway, that's about it. Oh and Jennifer Aniston is lovely Check out my avatar...

The site looks great. The only thing that's bugging me is on the contact page, on the left hand side of the page, it says "If you've have liked what you've seen on my site...", you wrote "you've" and "have", so you should remove either the "have" or the "'ve". Great work!

I've spent a couple of months developing my own hosted forum software. It's going pretty well so far. I'm using PHP and MySQL (and HTML and CSS) and a little bit of JavaScript. Feel free to create your own forum and test stuff out. If you could check it out, tell me what you think, that'd be great. Any bugs / errors or suggestions are completely welcome.
