Hi Guys,

 

I am on the hunt for 2 new monitors with a total budget of £500 to work alongside my Mac Mini. The monitors will be for coding, designing and watching movies, no gaming will be done on them.

 

I am after some advice on what monitors you would go for at a maximum of £250 each and why.

 

I have came across 2 that seem to fit my needs these are the LG ELECTRONICS 23EA63V and the Dell UltraSharp U2412M 24 inch. Would you buy two of these or would you recommend something different?

Have you considered one of these new 29" LCDs? I'm tempted myself...

Edit: I should add, I'm mentioning this because one of the key selling points of them is to the ability for improved multi-tasking. It's like having two monitors, but without the annoying gap and other irritating aspects.

I like these, I have used them for movie watching and design work - I have three but two would be fine!
