Google Website Translator

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I'm trying to install the Google website translator as you can see here: www.hardlife.no

As you will see it would benefit from some padding/better positioning.

I'm not too great at writing CSS which is my problem, but can implement it OK.

I'm pretty sure something can be done with it if I link to some more CSS somehow?

Would anyone be so kind as to give it a try for me?? :)

Hugo

The banner has a fixed position. To override it add some position rules for .goog-te-banner-frame in a stylesheet loaded later than translateelement.css

Thanks for your help guys.

Nillervision, I've managed to add some extra css and it is now implemented a bit better, please take a look.

Added a margin to the bottom and made it a bit wider.

Would like to change the background color and text color though so it matches the buttons below.

However, if I insert a background color to my new css it is overridden by the original. How exactly do I make mine override the original?

No worries - I managed to do it myself in the end :)

Just added all the extra css rules I wanted followed by !important and that seemed to do the job.

Thanks for your help
