Are you looking for a design review or review on your articles?

I have read your articles and I do like them, especially the one about reversing the questions usually asked at an interview, I wouldn't probably think of doing that in a million years. Great thinking

But I can't really criticise the articles, as this is not my area at all.

Looks good. The only thing that bothers me bit are the corner brackets on the articles. They draw a lot of attention because of the high contrast. I would either tone them down or use another method to seperate content. The articles look good but I'm not really qualified to say much about them being neither a backend developer nor a writer.

At first glance it looks way too "busy" - there's far too much going on, too much cruft.

 

The search box is very hard to spot, and doesn't give me all the options I'd want, eg I'd want to do a keyword search and filter by location, job type, and optionally salary range.

 

As rallport said, job links take you offsite, my suggestion is to include a job detail page, then link to the offsite page from there. If you're importing job data from Technojobs it should be relatively simple to do.

Once the site is moved over to Drupal, it will have a better search box.

Clicking on any job seems to redirect me to another website - why wouldn;t I simply go to technojobs.co.uk in the first place?

 

The article titlers seem quite good at first glance, but upon reading the actual article it is either out of date, or very simialr to other sites.

 

I'm still failing to see what the point of the site is to be honest.

 

Also, the following menu should be binned completely, as it;s just SEO spam:

The site has been around for a while and just left to rot in cyberspace.

So it needs a lot of love (hard love!) to make it a proper resource like it's intended to be.

Better content, design, usability, you name it.

At least no one has said that they hate the guy with spiky hair ...yet
