January 4, 201313 yr Hi, my name is Courtney James. I graduated from Canadore College from a 3-Year Communication Arts Program, A.K.A. Graphic Design. I have run my own website design business. But I do not run a website design business anymore. Instead I mostly market things online. Wait? Did he mention the "M" word? "Marketing?" Okay, everybody get out your pitchforks and torches and stab and burn him before he has a chance to breed. Yeah, I know... I hope you'll reserve judgment on me for a few weeks at least. If I try to marketing anything you can tar and feather my ###, light me on fire, and send me on my way... I don't do that crap in forums anymore but I won't deny that I have tried it before! I guess, I'm mostly a writer these days, and while I do have a newsletter for website designers I'm mostly here to hang around, meet interesting people with similar interests, and learn what I have missed over the years while I have been busy writing away. I have to confess that my design skills are rustier than a box of nails that have been sitting outside for ten years in a farmer's field so be kind if I share anything. You are probably a much better designer than I will ever be. I guess, for the most part that is why I don't do it for a living anymore. lol. Anyway, would love to meet you. Oh, and I'm Canadian "Eh!". I wonder how many of my fellow Canucks are in these forums? How 'bout them 'habs eh? Naw, I don't follow hockey anway. Is it true it's not even on the air this year? What's up with that? Anyhow, hello. My name is Courtney. Hi.
January 4, 201313 yr Hello Courtney, welcome to the forum! I've been a member on here for just over a year now and haven't been very active but hopefully 2013 will change that and I will see you around sometime! Hope you have a good time here .gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':seas8:' />
January 4, 201313 yr Author Hey, thank you. You're the first person who has replied to me on here. I love the forum post text editor here. It's so much easier to use than some of the other forums I have been to before. I'm just hoping I can find a good community to be a part of. I'm not sure how active this one is but some of the people here seem to be pretty laid back and we shall see how it goes. It's nice to meet somebody. It was beginning to feel like a ghost town! I was getting worried.
January 5, 201313 yr I think you have great writing skills! Nice to meet you! Mind helping me out with my writing too?

I was getting worried. I agree, the editor is good, the whole forum design is pretty smooth compared to the majority out there. Most forums do feel a bit empty and I hate replying to forum topics a few months old, especially if they're at the top of the list! I'm sure things will pick up the more you get involved.
January 5, 201313 yr Completely agree with alex, Awesome post here, Welcome to the Web Designer forum. Craig

January 5, 201313 yr Author I sent you a link to my favorite free website. It's more about copywriting than writing in general. If you want more specific advice then let me know and I will do my best to find something for you. I don't want to clog this introduction thread with resources. The community is great even if it does feel a bit small. It's easily my favorite forum to hang out in so far and I've only been here a few days. I noticed that you live in Racoon City. What did you think of Resident Evil 6? I haven't picked that one up yet. I loved 4 and 5. But I have been hearing nothing but bad things about 6. Anyhow, it's nice to meet you.
January 21, 201313 yr Its nice to meet you as well. Yeah, I'm a big fan of Leon. My favorite RE is definitely 2 and 4. About 6, I've read from different gaming forums that RE 6 has become more of a shooting game than survival horror. For me, I don't mind since I love the game itself. As for the movie, it bombs. Only watched it because of the characters. Good thing Leon finally showed up in Resident Evil: Retribution or I would have written a complaint letter to the movie makers.
