October 16, 201213 yr need some advice on what to charge a friend of a friend to build a very basic 4 page static html website. he has all the logos, pictures and content. I'm a skilled hobbyist web designer. how much should I charge? advice from you experienced guys would be really much appreciated.
October 16, 201213 yr How long do you think it will take you? I normally work it out based on an hourly rate. Say that figure ends up £180/200 then if it was my mate I would charge him £150 or so..just depends on how good of a mate he is, how long it will take you etc.
October 16, 201213 yr Depends on how good you are ? If it's a learning experience for yourself then don't charge too much... Most friends will have an idea of budget.... and mostly it's less than a £100. Edited October 16, 201213 yr by zeedurrani
October 17, 201213 yr Be careful with doing work for friends and friends of friends. They tend to expect a lot for very little in my experience....
