Hello everyone, I would greatly appreciate some honest feedback on my website: http://doggiecarekennels.com. There's still things that need to be done, but i need your thoughts on it so far.

thx :)

I quite like it. My pet peeve though - no hover effects! Also the text is a bit too large for my liking. Otherwise nice and simple design and calming colours :)

thanks very much for your positive feedback!

The page seems to move to the right when you go to the kennels?

I think that's because the page isn't long enough to warrant a scrollbar!

I like the overall design, a little plain though. Have you thought about making the background a bit darker to make the center stand out a bit more?

I'd also make the headings look more similar, where you have "Our commitment for you and your dogs" I think it would look better in the same orange.

I think it's probably not a great idea to have your h1 as an empty field with a background image. It would be wiser to add the heading in there as text and embed the font...

Looks pretty sexy to me :) Well done. Things I'm not such a big fan of:

- green list arrows

- text size on contact page could be a tad smaller

I agree that some of the writing is a little too big.

On the front page, be sure to fix that typo: "our dogs" instead of "ours dogs".

Perhaps it would be a good idea to make the slider change the images automatically; I didn't notice that it's a slider until my second visit to the site, and I'm not sure how many visitors would actually manually go though those images.

Aside from those I like the simplicity and neatness of the site, though something doesn't quite sit right with me about the background...Maybe there's a bit too much texture in both the page background, and the content wrap..?

Thanks for the feedback everyone, ive used some to enhance the website. Again, thank you very much :))

Nice and clean, no screwups, and nice banner, you could compensate for the site length, by floating the two text blocks! So they are beside each other..

The gallery is alittle annoying, since i have to press a arrow to see more, im not really inclined to do so.. would be better if alle thumbs was there.. and the image changed on hover.. since im kinda lazy ;)

Nice site. Cute and clean design which works well with the subject of doggies.

I would change those green arrows. If you're going to stick with them, I would change them to the orange you have in the logo. Also, that list bothers me. Maybe see how it looks in 2 columns.
