If you're expecting your project to make thousands I'm sure you won't begrudge the £1.99 investment to post in the right place.

As i told you i was not looking to HIRE anyone i was looking for a person to help with a project i am planning to build. As i am not paying it cannot be classed as HIRING.

 

Hire - To engage the services of (a person) for a fee; employ: hired a new clerk. b. To engage the temporary use of for a fee

 

Please make the rules of the forum a lot more clear or at least use the correct terminology, I request my post to be reinstated.

Whether you're looking for an employee, a consultant or a buiness partner it's still a business arrangement and belongs in the Looking to Hire forum.

 

If you don't value your project highly enough to stump up a £1.99 listing fee - well, I think that says it all.

 

Further, we get people coming on this forum with grand ideas all the time. If you've got a great idea, run it past a VC or a bank first. If they won't invest in you or lend to you so that you can hire web professionals at market rates, why would we want to touch your project? They're the experts in gauging viability, we just design and build stuff.

Its not that i dont value my project, It's that your forum rules are not clear. I have just give you the definition of HIRE and it clearly states to HIRE requires a FEE. Why would i go to a bank to get money to hire market professionals when i myself am a graphic/web designer. I am merely looking for someone who wants to help out in the hope we good both eventually make something from it. As you could see the other MOD that was commenting on my post did not have a problem he wanted to know more but because you have never left your computer as your avatar clearly depicts, You have nothing better to do. -Thanks

Ok as i can clearly see you are all a very tight knit community here and trying to join is seen as an intrusion. Your stickies are meaningless to me and i really don't care if i get no one to help i merely made an offer in the hope for someone to be interested but because your all stuck up your own arses, it doesnt matter. hardly i've been banned for a year its just very obvious when someone is being personal and rude to a mod who actually is trying only to be fair

I consider renaissance to be a very fair and knowledgable moderator and I'm glad he's on the team. So I'd especially like to thank the the members for the support!

 

Being a mod here is pretty much like when I was a lifeguard, the pool was always full of little scrotes that thought we were only there to ruin their fun. They had no idea the rules were for a damn good reason! Same goes here, now and again you get a member who thinks your picking on them or trying to be a dictator. They should wise up and see that we have hundreds of helpful pointers and posts but I guess that's to much to ask in the real world

I think it's due to how hard the mod team has been cracking down on spam and chaff posts.

Seems you can't please everyone but the quality members seem happier and that's what I like to see. Quality over quantity.
