September 13, 201114 yr Hi All, Hope everyone well. I'm trying to do a new idea but can't find any help on the web, so thought i'd ask the experts on here. My idea is to try and design a 3 dimensional room, in Adobe Fireworks, but having problems with trying to make things stand out as 3d any help or advice would be welcomed. Have attached two images, would like to be able to get washing machines etc set at angles but can achieve this using distort, but i need them rotating a few degrees to fit in with the "Wall".
September 13, 201114 yr The problem with the angle you've got your room set at is that for each different position you have an item you have a shift in perspective. You're better off sticking to the same rule of thumb as sims, simcity etc. That way you have a consistent viewing angle and a persistent perspective.
September 13, 201114 yr I believe Adobe illustrator CS5 has a perspective tool... if this is true, you may be able to download the free trial and use it (don't quote me on it though..... I've been out of the game for over a year and am not back up to scratch on things )
