I had a change of heart about my old portfolio design, so here's a new one, it's very minimal but I rather like it:

 

 

Opinions/Constructive Criticism would be greatly valued!

 

EDIT: Thought I'd say that the italics = links, so it's not a one page portfolio

EDIT: Also, I was thinking of dynamically loading more examples as they scrolled down. Not sure how to do it, but I'm sure I can work it out?

not really sure its just not working for me, i think minimal can be done better using type etc. I think look at a few typography books etc and ditch the black background

Also based on that page, that you "love" to create interfaces etc your not really showcasing your ability

It's a dark blue background btw, and yeah, will do. I'm not too good at typo right now. However, I've also heard that using color effectively can also work, which I suppose is what I'm trying out here.

 

And yeah, I thought of that, but I'm really not sure what to put there.

read up on colour theory as those colours are not doing it for me

I have:

 

Triad.

That red and that green follows the rule of "red and green should never be seen" your better off going for a tone see here if you want to go down the red, green and purple route

I see, I was more leaning towards an orange, but I'll make it more 'orangey'.
