General help about web layout

Featured Replies

Hi, I introduced myself today in the forum and here I am again :)

For who can help me with this and can take a look at www.risingidea.co.uk would be appreciated as I've some questions about.

I used tables, and ap divs when necessary, as I had some issues as the tables are constantly moving. Is that the right way to insert tables when designing layouts? or Ap divs or something else?

Another question is: as this website is a kind of portfolio and I have done a lot of pages and need to do some more to upload some more works, that seems for me I am taking a longest way to reach the final work. Is there any easiest way to do so?

When creating a new page, do I need to create all the links again?

I din't use any frames or iframes. Are those useful for the type of layout of our website?

Hope it hasn't been confusing.

Cheers,

Carlos

Tables should only be used for tabular data and never layouts.

Sorry

What do you mean splash page?

When you go to your website, you have to click the image to 'Enter' the website. Lose that, there's no need to make the user click again to view your website

And it also is a no no for SEO.

I only understand the basic about web design. Whta is SEO?

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimisation. You want to make your website as easy to read as possible for the search engines like Google etc as they will ultimately provide you with traffic, the better the SEO, the more traffic to your site.
