Hi,

 

I have a Wordpress site using the WP-Ecommerce plugin. I have created my shop and set up all the products and i am happy with it.

 

I now need to test the payment side of things and im not sure what to do or how to test all is working and people can actually buy products?

 

Do you have to set up a test gateway - how does that work? I was thinking of using paypal business checkout as they handle the credit card payments for you?

 

Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.

If you're using Paypal they have a "sandbox" which you can use for testing - https://developer.paypal.com/

 

To make things easier most decent shopping carts have a built in test mode for payment options so check your cart system...
