What do you think of my new homepage?

looks too templatey and its not valid xhtml... looks ok tho

The layout structure is great, but you really need to darken the header/footer background, it is way too bright to be positioned next to a white area, and have white text on top of it; there just isn't enough contrast - it hurts my eyes :p

for some reason I keep seeing it in pink...I don't know why I think its the stripes, they were done similar on a site I was looking at earlier this week and I am sure it was pink.

Anyway that's beside the point.

Personal dislike: the header image on the right. Its distracting and the header is bold enough to do without it. Plus its not that well executed, so it doesn't work with the sleekness of the rest of your site.

The white text on the green (right at the top) is very very hard to read as in even squinting it doesn't work well... Contrast in colours problem rather than a size problem.

Nicely layout and balance of text and images. So yeah I like the over all feel and balance of the site...its nice to see a well balanced site :D

There is something wrong with your monitor.. on mine it looks absolutely fine ;) design is clean and with really nice colors... not bad :p

I'd also like to point out that you pretty much have two footers, and that the "Web Design to free your potential, We can make your imagination reality" is a little bit cheesy. Get yourself a favicon to make things a little more plush and also try having a look at the really sudden change from green to white, everything else is kind of gradient-ey except for that and it looks a bit out of place.

It sounds like you are forcing a different colour profile on your monitor. The website looks the same on 3 computers in my house.

+1

The big bright green areas are too overpowering. Overall layout is kinda bloggy and generic, which probably isn't that good an idea for a company that does design, because it doesn't stand out at all.. if I were a customer, I'd be looking for a bit more originality. Same with the reflected logo - that's kind've a passing faddy thing which is going to make the site look dated pretty quickly.

Overall it's a nice site, clean and (relatively) easy to get around.

I agree with the minus comments on the green, too much of it to be that bright. Plus the green in the nav seems too dark for the style.

Also I feel the "Web site design & development and graphic design throughout the UK from a Glasgow based internet solutions company in Scotland" on the homepage looks a little clumsy and serves to emphasise how big the header image is. To me the font size of the home/services etc look like it was that big to take up space rather than create impact. Personally I'd like to lose the reflected websites in the header and put the nav up there, get rid of the big picture across the middle and put the (great) "latest work" bit much higher as I think that's really appealing as a visitor.

I like the web 2.0 boxes on the right as that's the style you're going for, but I'd make them completely clickable rather than only the title.

Otherwise it's just the/my general grammar thing, there are a lot of minor errors.

Right, that sounds a lot worse than I think it is, sorry! It's a nice site and doesn't need a lot to enhance it.

Good work :)
