Yes, but you may run into issues on renewal or tranferring out

I noted one company that offered free .co.uk and hidden in the small print was a renewal fee of £35 and a transfer out fee of £50

There was also a further fee of £15 to apply a new IPSTAG or nameservers

Thats true ..make sure you select the correct company or you might get heavily charged while renewing the domain.

No mention of what the fee payable after 60 days is

most hosting sites offer a free domain when you get some hosting...

 

if you have a domain you need hosting? so it will work out well for you

Yeah, why take a chance when they really don't cost much at all?
