Stop words in title

Featured Replies

I'm using a seo tool that warns me i have stop words (such as for, the, and... etc) in the title tags of my pages.

I do, but without them the title would not look proper grammer also of course my H1 tags are the same as my title tag (thank godness for CSS otherwise everyone would have 2ft high fonts in the title of their site, hehe)

Anyway is it really that important not to have stop words in title tags??

They are a waste of space. Its important to remember that Google values the words at the start of a title tag much more than those at the end!

It's all well and good until a mythical creature known as a human visits your site. One look at your bad grammar and they'll probably click away.

Since search engines pay special attention to the words in the TITLE. Make sure you included your most important keywords in the title and your title tags should be in between 7-10 words.

Tittle tag is very much important for SEO, the major search engine Google give the most important for tittle tag, but tittle should be in below 64 character..

those words are not need in the title tag its wast of space

I agree with neil0wen . Usage of stopwords are a waste of space. And, i guess if your copywriter is skilled enough then he/she would be able to create attractive Titles, high on sales pitch without having to compromise on the grammar.

Thanks

Steve

Title is really important for on site optimization and can help you to show your page title at the top of the browser so Title should be effective and related to your web page services which are deployed by you.

You can use all in one seo pack plugin if you are a wordpress user. This plugin will solve your all problem. You can write your post title as usual with full of grammar and remove stop words in your plugin title box.People can see your own title at the website but search engine will see the seo plugin title(without stop words). You can add separate meta keyword and description for your all post and pages.
